This ECLIPSE workshop examined the role of transport in tackling social exclusion. The workshop focused on the situation in France in particular, looking at national, regional and local initiatives. The following topics were addressed:

•  Transport measures in the National Action Plan for social inclusion

• Good practice initiatives

•  Accessibility of public transport
